Group Assignment

This article outlines how to create a group assignment in the Assignments tool. To make changes to groups or access group settings, do so directly through the https://cpibrock.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BLEDOCU/pages/966688771 Tool. Groups can be made before or after creating the assignment.

Creating a Group Assignment via Assignments Tool

Follow the instructions outlined in the https://cpibrock.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BLEDOCU/pages/880574500 page to start. Set all the desired variables and restrictions. To transform the assignment from individual to group, follow below.

1. Click Submission & Completion drop-down.

2. Select Group Assignment.

3. Under Group Assignment select the Group Category:

   1. If “section” is chosen a new group will automatically be created in the groups tool. Proceed to the https://cpibrock.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BLEDOCU/pages/966688771 Tool to set groups and add students.

   2. OR select the group category desired for this assignment.

4. Save and Close.
