Submit a video (assignment)
The preferred student method for sharing video is through an upload to Video Note. This is the most reliable and accessible option, and provides the best grading experience for instructors.
This does not require the use of the Video Note recording options and can accept any video or audio file under 30 minutes in length.
The Video Note tool can be found in the Brightspace text editor under Insert Stuff. Assignments and Discussions (and Quizzes, in certain question types) provide access to the Insert Stuff button.
Assignments accepting file attachments do allow video uploads and also offer the in-browser recording of short video and audio notes. Linking or embedding video from another hosting source is always an option.

Record an MS Teams meeting
With your group members or in a meeting you invite yourself to, you can record a meeting, and when the recording is ready, download the resulting video file or access it through OneDrive (more information about recordings in MS Teams) and upload it as outlined below.
Submitting a video using the option to insert a Video Note
Step 1: Go to submit to the assignment/discussion topic/quiz as normal. In the case of an assignment submission, youāll be looking for the Comments or Text Submission box. Find the Insert Stuff button in the text editor.
Step 2: Choose Add Video Note.
Step 3: Use Upload File or record from a webcam. The upload limit is 2GB while recordings must be under 30 minutes.
Select the file you want to upload from your computer. File format must be .mp4, .webm, .mov, .flv, .f4v, .mp3, .m4a, .ogg, or .wav.
Once uploaded (which can take some time depending on file size), a video will have a brief processing period and then become available to preview. Please be patient during this period, and confirm the processing was successful by checking the preview.
Step 4: Click Insert and then Submit.
The assignment, discussion post, or quiz question will be completed.
