  • Optimize for Streaming - Revises the file to improve the streaming quality so users can play it directly in Brightspace, as opposed to having to download it.

  • Auto-Generating, Uploading, or Creating Closed Captions - Creating closed captions for files increases their accessibility for various audiences. It is highly recommended that users implement some sort of closed-captioning on their files.

Files can be saved as drafts while being edited.

Brightspace offers basic editing options for video files, which can be done directly within the browser. Clicking on the ellipsis (. . .), followed by Edit reveals the editing options.
