It is possible to verify or adjust the release timing of a course’s surveys. Doing so may better align with key events during the conclusion of a course or semester.

By default, a survey will begin 7 days before a course’s official ending and close 7 days after the ending.

Access the Student Course Experience Survey through Blue

Access Blue’s survey and tasks management tools through https://my-brocku.bluera.com/

Brock users access Blue via their standard Brock credentials, namely email and password.

Survey options within Blue

A menu bar across the top of the screen will allow for navigation between the different areas, namely Tasks and Reports. The latter will be available once results have been received and are processed.

The main landing page will list active tasks associated with an instructor account. Each survey will include the following options:

Find the course survey to be adjusted

Select the View and manage questionnaire settings for… option associated with the course to be modified.

Adjustments to survey settings or dates must be made in each survey as listed, even if they are associated with multiple sections of the same course.

Adjust the dates and timing as necessary

The expanded view of a survey’s management options provides a button to Manage Settings.

  1. Use the date picker icon associated with Start Date to modify the survey’s opening date.

  2. Use the date picker icon associated with End Date to modify the survey’s closing date.

  3. Optionally select I have finished all my tasks, please stop sending me reminders to prevent further reminders to your Brock email. This step is not required for the scheduled release to come into effect.

  4. Click Update to confirm.
