Teams Recordings
Teams offers the ability to record lectures/meetings. The recording is turned into a video file upon stopping the recording or ending the meeting. This can help with recording information in a conversational or lecture setting.
The video can then be uploaded into a course site for students to view in the future.

Recording in Teams
Once in a meeting, a recording can be started by selecting the More button on the top navbar of the meeting window. The first option in the drop-down menu is Record and Transcribe.
Click Record and Transcribe to start a Recording or Transcription, at which point Teams will begin recording the meeting.
Participants should be made aware that the meeting will be recorded beforehand, so as not to catch them off-guard.
Once the recording is stopped, a video file is prepared and will become available from the Teams site shortly. You may wish to return later to allow the video to be fully prepared.
