Instructors may be in a position where they have media already created that they wish to upload into YuJa. This is possible, and can be done either directly within Brightspace, or from the YuJa websiteExisting media can be uploaded to YuJa via the embedding process in Brightspace or directly to the YuJa Media Library (perhaps in bulk).

Upload via the Insert Stuff
Tooltool
Open a any instance of the text - editor in Brightspace.
Select Insert Stuff → YuJa Media Chooser.
Just below the Media Chooser title, click the Upload Media tab in the centre.
Select the type of media that will be uploaded (video, audio, etc.)
Drag and drop Find the file from the computer folders it’s stored in into the dotted box, or select the “Browse” button to browse computer filesvideo file where it is stored on your computer and drag-and-drop it into the box with the dotted outline. Alternatively, click the Browse button to search through your files and find and attach the video.
Upon selecting a file, the media will be uploaded to the user’s YuJa account. They are then free to insert the YuJa video into their Brightspace site.
begin uploading. This may take some time, depending on the file’s size.
The video can thereafter be inserted into a Brightspace site or shared externally.
Upload videos via the YuJa
websiteVisit your YuJa account via Course Tools on the navbar in your Brightspace site.
At the top of the YuJa library, select Upload in the navbar next to the Search bar.
Media Library
Access the Media Library at brocku.video.yuja.com or through a Brightspace site’s Course Tools menu.
Select Upload from the menu across the top of Media Library page.
Choose the type of media that will be uploaded (video, audio, etc.).
