Existing media can be uploaded to YuJa via the embedding process in Brightspace or directly to the YuJa Media Library (perhaps in bulk).

Upload via the Insert Stuff tool
Open any instance of the text editor in Brightspace.
Select Insert Stuff → YuJa Media Chooser.
Just below the Media Chooser title, click the Upload Media tab in the centre.
Select the type of media that will be uploaded (video, audio, etc.)
Find the video file where it is stored on your computer and drag-and-drop it into the box with the dotted outline. Alternatively, click the Browse button to search through your files and find and attach the video.
Upon selecting a file, the media will begin uploading. This may take some time, depending on the file’s size.
The video can thereafter be inserted into a Brightspace site or shared externally.
Upload videos via the YuJa Media Library
Access the Media Library at brocku.video.yuja.com or through a Brightspace site’s Course Tools menu.
Select Upload from the menu across the top of Media Library page.
Choose the type of media that will be uploaded (video, audio, etc.).
Find the video file where it is stored on your computer and drag-and-drop it into the box with the dotted outline. Alternatively, click the Browse button to search through your files and find and attach the video. Multiple items can be selected using either method.
Upon selecting a file, the media will be uploaded to the user’s YuJa account. This may take some time, depending on the file’s size.
