To protect an instructor’s intellectual property, YuJa video cannot be downloaded with the default video permission settings. An instructor can adjust these permissions to make it possible. This must be done in the YuJa Media Library.
The permissions set in the Media Library will govern access to the video wherever it is embedded (e.g. in Brightspace Content) or shared.

Enable video downloads
Access the Media Library at brocku.video.yuja.com or through a Brightspace site’s Course Tools menu.
Find the video. The library is arranged by upload date and there is a search option in the top-left.
Hover over a video’s thumbnail and select More…, which will open a pop-up Media Detailswindow. These options will not appear if a video has just been uploaded and is still processing.
Select the Downloads tab from the toolbar on the left [1], then Enable the “Pre-Generate Video Downloads” and “Allow Viewers to Download in Media Player” options [2]. Be sure to Save Downloads [3].
How to download videos
Viewers can download YuJa videos that are embedded in Brightspace by selecting the gear icon in the bottom right of the video player, then clicking Download Media. This will present the typical web browser download options.
