Instructors may wish to grant viewers the ability to download their YuJa videos. By default, viewers are unable to download YuJa videos shared by the instructor. This is to protect the instructor’s intellectual property.
Permission to download videos can be granted to viewers through the YuJa website.

Steps to Enable Video Downloads
Access the YuJa website by selecting Course tools > YuJa Video on the navbar of a Brightspace course site. This will open theManage Media section of the YuJa website in a separate tab.
Hover your mouse over a video you wish to enable downloading for, and select More. This will open the Media Detailswindow.
Select the Downloads tab from the toolbar on the left of the window, then Enable the “Pre-Generate Video Downloads” and “Allow Viewers to Download in Media Player” options. This will grant the viewers the ability to download the video.
Where Viewers Download Videos
Viewers can download YuJa videos that are embedded in Brightspace by selecting the gear icon in the bottom right of the video player, then selecting Download Media.
